Emily is the best!

I’m aware that I am a control freak, but I can trust Emily for taking care of everything (indeed she did!) for my wedding. 

I hired Emily as the day-of coordinator because I know I probably wouldn’t have the time to do everything by my own on my wedding day, but I didn’t know that I didn’t have a second for setting up the decorations, talking to vendors, checking the timeline etc. Before I knew it, Emily took care of all of them. I put all the decorations and other stuffs in a box and failed to tell anyone where I planed to place them (b/c I thought I would have some little time to do it myself), but I got too busy to even tell others about my plan for them. Emily managed all of them and gave lots of great suggestions of placing the gift box for guests (better than my original plan), so that I can focus on photo-shooting and enjoying my wedding, thus I didn’t feel tired at all which makes me look happier in the photos rather than a tired face (I was worried about it!). Emily organized the guests to another room when we planned to take couple photos inside so they wouldn’t see me before the wedding. All my bridesmaids were telling me how awesome and helpful Emily is after the wedding.

I even didn’t notice I missed ordering flower petals for flower girl 😅 before Emily managed to get them from wedding arch flowers!

Thanks to Emily, the wedding went much smoother than I expected. I didn’t expect a perfect wedding, but Emily helped me achieve that. It wouldn’t be a wonderful night without Emily! Maybe there is one thing I feel regretful is we didn’t have a chance to have a photo with Emily!

Emily / Feathered Events was recommended to us a few months before our wedding by some friends. We were in a pinch because our previous wedding day-of coordinator had ghosted us. Emily came in, understood the stressfulness of the situation, and worked with us to make sure everything we had planned for our big day was executed perfectly. Emily was AMAZING. She made sure she understood our likes and preferences, and asked us first before executing. During our wedding and reception, if anything went wrong we did not know about it - Emily took care of everything, including vendor coordination, keeping to schedule, and even coming up with alternative plans due to the rain forecast. Showered my daughter at Agronomy Farm Vineyard which is not close to home, so I needed help. Feathered Events came highly recommended to me and right from the start I knew it was the right choice. Emily had so many great ideas and suggestions that were not only creative, but helped with the budget. A Dream Day

I know that most brides will tell you that their wedding was the perfect day filled with love. I believe it. 

I also believe that our day was unique, special, filled with people that loved us, and the best wedding planner a gal could ask for. 

We lived in Colorado, were moving to Indianapolis, I was taking a new job, all while planning a wedding in Massachusetts (where I knew little people outside of my husband's small family that lived there). 

Emily changed all of this for me. She made me feel so looked after, listened to me when I would get stressed or needed to find a vendor that she had nothing to with and pulled through for me in HUGE ways. 

She found our DJ, hair and makeup folks. She provided me with a place to store my flowers that I ordered. She arranged all wedding day flowers (not the bouquets and boutinieres, my aunt did that special for us). She coordinated the independent bartenders, food servers, and caterers. (In addition, I had a very ill Mother in Law that Emily helped to coordinate quick photos on the day of with our photographer so she could go home and rest. )

We wanted for nothing. She was incredible.  

Our day was relaxing (for me) and I was able to enjoy every moment.

I honestly feel like she undercharged us. 

I would say yes to the Emily every single time.

The perfect wedding planner!

Emily helped me plan and execute our wedding this past weekend (10/31/20) and I couldn’t have been happier! She helped me navigate moving my date from this summer to the fall and doing multiple rounds of re-planning as the state guidelines evolved. She was so helpful & thoughtful in keeping me positive and finding solutions to problems. She recommended our livestream company who did a great job making sure all our extended family and friends got to see our ceremony from afar. At our reception she made sure everything went smoothly including getting the heaters in the tent cranking when my bridesmaids were cold. Definitely recommend her 100%!

Emily was GREAT! - Super flexible and accommodating!

My husband and I hired Emily in November 2019 to help us plan our at-home wedding. Originally, our wedding was scheduled for June 2020 with about 150 guests. We really didn't know what we wanted, and so Emily and I communicated back and forth discussing ideas and options. She was super helpful with recommendations and suggestions, and got a few vendor quotes for me to review. About a month in, my husband and I decided to change plans completely and bump up our wedding date to February 2020 with a guest list of only 30! We had already paid Emily a 50% deposit and I honestly didn't think her services were needed, so I told her "Thank you, but we are all set" and I did not expect to get my deposit back. To my surprise, Emily was happy to accommodate our plan changes at the deposit price we already paid! She came to our rehearsal the day before the ceremony and told both our mothers that she was here for the day to help with anything and everything so they could relax! She ended up being a God-send... both our mothers could enjoy the day and Emily took over all the preparation, planning, setting up, serving, organizing, cleaning, you name it - she helped! She was super professional and helpful and we were ultimately THRILLED that we had hired her as our wedding planner! I am so grateful for her flexibility with our last minute changes and so happy she was there the day of our event to ensure things were in order. Emily is FANTASTIC!

We had a tented wedding in August and were unsure of hiring a day of coordinator. We are so glad we did. Emily was wonderful to work with. She is so charismatic, worked with the other vendors and just made the day run smooth. I got ready off site and she ensued my vision was carried through. She has a great taste and style and everything looked perfect. She also has wonderful things to rent for the wedding as well. Not only did she take care of our guests but she took care of our vendors. We couldn't be more pleased with Emily and her team. They made the night magical.

I said this throughout the planning process and after my wedding this past weekend it is definitely true-- hiring Emily was one of the best things we did for our wedding. Couldn't Have Done it Without Her!

Working with Emily was one of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding. Though we relied more heavily on her services for day-of coordination, I really don’t think our wedding day would have been as smooth as it was without her. From the rehearsal, to the decorations, to helping to coordinate our First Look, to making sure we got all the photos we wanted, to making sure our ceremony and reception all went as planned. Our dog was part of our first look (but couldn't be at our ceremony) and even helped by taking him to daycare once our First Look pictures were done. It was a genuine pleasure working with Emily over the last year and couldn’t be more appreciative of all of her help.

Complete package! 

Emily went above and beyond expectations! She met with me numerous times to help plan and give me money saving ideas. I was a complete mess and Emily calmed me down and reassured me every time of everything working out because I was WAY overthinking everything. We both came up with a schedule and that’s what we stuck by. On the day of my reception the weather was HORRIBLE. There was pouring/flooding rains, golf ball size hail and a tornado warning! Emily made it out to me anyway regardless. Literally nothing stopped her. She was wedding planner and photographer and keeping everyone on schedule because all of us weren’t doing good at timing. Emily flew around the house we rented to get ready at and moved us all along as well as took pictures. We successfully made it to the venue where the night was absolutely fantastic and Emily was our photographer :-)

My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Emily and Laura! Our original day of coordinator cancelled and I was panicking until my husband and I met Emily and Laura for lunch. They were so friendly, sweet, and helpful, and took so much stress away. They were very responsive to emails and text messages, and made sure everything was set for our special day. They went above and beyond by picking up the wedding decorations from our hotel the day before, and helped us track down our pie cutter when it was misplaced. The day of the wedding it rained (the ceremony was supposed to be outside), and I had made about 400 paper hearts on skewers to line the aisle.
